# Terms

Socienne is in private beta. These terms say what a private-beta tenant gets, what Socienne does not do, and who owns the data. They are a draft until the owner of Socienne approves them. Three terms are marked Owner choice. Each is a recommendation, not a settled term.

Socienne is operated by Zentered Studios LLC, a Colorado LLC. Write to [hello@socienne.com](mailto:hello@socienne.com).

These terms are not legal advice.

## What Socienne is

Socienne keeps a business's record: time, customers, invoices, expenses, filing reminders and more. An owner uses it through their own AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT. The assistant calls Socienne's tools and Socienne keeps the record.

## What Socienne is not

- Socienne is not a bank and not a payment processor. It never holds or moves your money.
- Socienne is not a lawyer. It does not tell you whether to sign anything.
- Socienne is not a tax preparer. It takes no filing position.
- Socienne is not an auto-filer. You submit your own filings.

Socienne reminds; it does not advise. Socienne does not promise a result. It promises no outcome, no filing and no deadline met. A reminder can be late, wrong or missing. You check every date and every filing against its official source.

## Your data

You own your data. You can export your record at any time, in open formats, and the export is never paid-only. Ask your assistant to run `export_time`. [/privacy](/privacy) says what the export holds, what it leaves out, its size limit, and how Socienne handles your data.

## The private beta

The private beta has no fee. It carries no service-level commitment: Socienne sets no uptime, response time or fix time. Features can change or stop during the beta.

You may leave at any time. To leave, run `export_time` and take your archive. Write to [hello@socienne.com](mailto:hello@socienne.com) to say you have left. Leaving does not delete your record. [/privacy](/privacy) says what is kept and what Socienne can remove today.

## Owner choice: governing law

Not settled. The owner of Socienne decides this before these terms are published.

Proposed: Colorado law, because Zentered Studios LLC is a Colorado LLC.

## Owner choice: liability limit

Not settled. The owner of Socienne decides this before these terms are published.

Proposed: no indirect or consequential damages. Total liability capped at the fees the tenant paid in the 12 months before the claim, which is zero during the free beta, to the extent the law allows.

## Owner choice: termination notice

Not settled. The owner of Socienne decides this before these terms are published.

Proposed: you may leave at any time. Socienne gives at least 30 days' notice by email before it ends a tenant's beta access, and export stays available through the notice. Socienne may suspend at once only to stop abuse, a security incident or a legal order. Open question: whether export stays available during a suspension.

## Changes

This page was drafted on 2026-10-31. Socienne is in private beta, and the terms change when the service does.
