How it works
Socienne is in private beta. This page describes how it will work. Socienne will run your invoices, time, expenses, and marketing from Claude, in one record your business owns.
From a question to a paid invoice.
- Add Socienne to Claude as a connector and sign in once. ChatGPT support is planned.
- Ask for what you need: “Invoice Linden Studio for September.” Linden Studio is a made-up customer.
- Socienne drafts the invoice from the hours, rates, and customer already in the record. The server does the math, not the chat.
- You check the draft. Nothing sends until you confirm.
- The customer pays into your Wise account. Socienne matches the deposit to the invoice.
One record.
The hours, the invoice, and the deposit that paid it all point to the same customer. Ask why an invoice has its total, and the answer traces back to each hour.
The record belongs to your business. You will be able to export all of it in open formats readable without Socienne.
Why we prefer Wise.
Wise has a public API, so Socienne reads the account directly. We use Wise at Zentered Studios, and it is the first account Socienne connects to. For now, only Zentered Studios can connect Wise. Beta customers cannot connect it yet.
- You create a personal API token in Wise and paste it into a Socienne page in your browser. The token never enters the chat.
- Socienne reads balances and statements only. It never sends a payment or changes anything in Wise. Wise issues no read-only token, so the token you paste can do more. Socienne's code calls only three read paths.
- New transactions arrive about every six hours.
- A deposit that names an invoice number and equals its total, with or without the Wise fee, matches that invoice. An outgoing payment with the same amount and currency as an expense, dated within three days, matches that expense. Anything unclear stays unmatched for you to sort.
- You can disconnect Wise at any time.
Other banks are not connected yet.
No Wise account? Use our referral link. Wise may give Zentered Studios a reward when you sign up through it, on terms Wise sets.
What Socienne will not do.
Socienne does not move money. You and your accountant pay the bills and file the taxes.
It gives no legal or tax advice. Where the work needs a license, a lawyer, an accountant, or an insurance broker does it. Socienne reminds and prepares.
